Friedr. Dick 1893 Series knives are made from 67 layers of stainless steel (FD VG 10-33). Due to the arrangement of the stainless steel layers every product is a unique specimen. The special materials used and the inimitable manufacturing technique of the handle give the knives exeptional handling qualities.
