Lotan® Coating Technology
Lotan® is the new revolutionary coating technology for modern gastronomic applications. The non-stick characteristics of our Lotan® coating simplify the cleaning of your cookware and keep the surface germ free. Our Lotan® coating makes our cookware so easy to rinse that it helps reduce your water consumption, which therefore helps save one of our planets most precious natural resources – water and your hard earned money.

Highly Robust

Our plasma coating is extremely hard and ultra-resistant. It is particularly well suited for the professional kitchen area and for extraordinary stress.

Dishwasher Safe
Our products all are dishwasher safe. Yet, the best way to cleanse AMT cookware is with warm water and dish washing liquid. Our self-developed coating Lotan® makes cleaning easier and keeps the pans clean and hygienic.

FAQ & Technical

FAQ & Technical

People Also Ask:

Q: What does the spout add to a roasting dish?

A: Controlled pouring of the cooking liquid. On an 11L dish that is a genuine handling improvement: fat and juices come off without tipping the whole vessel over a container.

Q: Why does that matter commercially?

A: Because pouring hot fat from a large dish is one of the more hazardous routine tasks in a kitchen. A formed spout turns an awkward two-person job into a manageable one.

Q: What capacity does 11L actually represent?

A: A full roast with vegetables around it, or a substantial batch braise. It is a production vessel, sized for service rather than for a single dish.

Q: Can it be used on the hob as well as in the oven?

A: This is the non-induction model, so hob use depends on the customer's equipment. The value of a hob-capable roasting dish is browning before and deglazing after, in the same vessel.

Q: Will it fit the customer's oven?

A: 42 x 28cm is a large footprint and needs clearance for air to circulate. Measure the oven interior rather than the shelf, since a dish touching the walls roasts unevenly.

Q: How heavy is it when full?

A: Heavy enough to plan for. Eleven litres plus the dish is a two-person lift in many kitchens, and the spout does not remove the need to move it.

Q: Does the coating earn its place on a roasting dish?

A: More than on almost anything else. Roasting produces the most stubborn residue in a kitchen, and the labour saved at the cleaning stage is the strongest part of the argument.

Q: Is it suitable for gravy and pan sauces?

A: Yes, and that is where the spout and the hob capability combine. Deglaze in the dish and pour off cleanly, rather than scraping into another pan.

Q: How many would an operation hold?

A: One or two. It is a large, specific vessel, and kitchens rarely run several at once outside banqueting.

Q: What is the difference between the XA4228 and the XA4228I?

A: The base construction. If the customer intends to brown or deglaze on an induction hob, the induction version is the only one that will do it.
