Q: What does the napkin holder do?
A: It carries serviettes on the display itself, rather than on whatever happens to be standing beside it. On a self-serve sampling unit that matters more than it sounds. A customer who takes a sample and has nowhere to put a serviette leaves it somewhere you did not choose.
Q: How does it fit?
A: It has a hole through it and slides over the top of the pole, beneath the ice bowl assembly. No tools and no fasteners. It is added during assembly and comes off the same way.
Q: Which units does it fit?
A: The 12-inch Sample Dome displays. If you run 16-inch units, ask us to confirm the right part before ordering rather than assuming this one fits.
Q: Do I need it if I bought a Deluxe unit?
A: No. The Deluxe models already include a detachable napkin holder. You buy this part to add the feature to a standard countertop or floor-stand unit, or to replace one that has been lost or broken.
Q: Is it worth adding to a standard unit?
A: Yes wherever the display stands away from a counter. In an aisle or a lobby there is nothing else to put serviettes on. Adding a holder is considerably cheaper than moving up to a Deluxe unit for the same capability. If the display always sits on a counter that already has serviettes, skip it.
Q: What is it made of?
A: Plastic, matched to the rest of the display components. That means it wipes clean and sanitises alongside the tray and bowl rather than needing separate treatment.
Q: How should it be cleaned?
A: Wipe and sanitise by hand, on the same schedule as the other food-area components. It is handled by customers, so it belongs in the cleaning routine even though nothing edible touches it. Slide it off the pole to clean it properly rather than wiping around it.
Q: Does it hold standard serviettes?
A: It is designed for the serviettes used at sampling stations, which are the small folded kind rather than full dinner napkins. Load it lightly. An overfilled holder on a self-serve display sheds its contents the first time somebody grabs at it.
Q: Does it get in the way of the display?
A: It sits on the pole below the bowl, so it is out of the sight line to the product. That position is deliberate. Anything mounted at dome height would compete with the samples, which is the one thing a sampling display cannot afford.
Q: Should I keep a spare?
A: One or two across a fleet of displays is sensible. It detaches, which is what makes it practical to clean and also what makes it easy to mislay. Losses are far more common than breakages.
