Instructions

Instructions

The clear dome (A) attaches to the ice bowl (D). Line-up the pegs on the ice bowl with the holes on the hinge of the clear dome. Push gently until the pegs snap through the holes.

Place the ice pack (C) in the bottom of the ice bowl (D). Then place the insert tray (B) on top.

The bottom of the ice bowl (D) features a plastic coupling connector piece. The adjustable pole (E) simply friction fits into this coupling piece. Push gently until a snug fit is achieved.

The bottom of the pole (E) threads into the hole on the base (F). Twist for a tight & secure fit.

The rubber plug (G) inserts into the hole in the bottom of the ice bowl (D).

The sign holder (H) has an adhesive bottom. Remove the white film to reveal the adhesive on the bottom of the sign holder, and then press to adhere it to extended handle section of the clear dome (A).

People Also Ask:

Q: What does the 16-inch give me over the 12-inch?

A: A 16-inch diameter display area instead of 12, so noticeably more product on show and fewer refills. The mechanism is identical. Same materials, same assembly, same adjustable height to roughly 38 inches, same single ice pack. Only the display scales. The practical gain is visibility. A larger dome reads from further down an aisle, which is what a sampling display is competing for.

Q: When is the 16-inch the wrong choice?

A: When floor space is tight, or when you sample one small item at low volume. A larger base needs more clearance, and an oversized display holding a thin layer of product looks worse than a smaller one that is full. Match the format to the volume you actually put out. For narrow aisles or crowded entrances the 12-inch is the easier fit.

Q: Does the larger dome need more cooling?

A: It ships with one reusable ice pack, the same as the 12-inch floor stand. The pack stays frozen for up to six hours. That is the pack, not the food. A bigger display holds more product and usually gets opened more often, so in practice a 16-inch unit works harder on the same cooling. Plan against six hours as a ceiling, keep a spare pack frozen, and set discard times to your local food safety requirements. Note the 16-inch Deluxe is the model that includes two packs.

Q: Is the height adjustable?

A: Yes, the pole adjusts below its maximum of roughly 38 inches. Set it before the shift. Adjusting a loaded 16-inch display means clearing it first, and there is more to clear than on the smaller unit.

Q: Does it include a napkin holder or waste basket?

A: No. Those are the Deluxe features. This model includes the dome, tray, ice bowl, ice pack, adjustable pole, base, rubber plug and sign holder. Napkins and waste are handled by whatever stands next to it. A napkin holder can be added separately if you would rather not move up to the Deluxe.

Q: How stable is the larger unit?

A: The pole threads into a weighted round metal base, which is a rigid joint rather than a friction fit. That threaded connection carries the extra weight of a larger loaded dome. Position it off the natural walking line regardless, because a taller display with more mass on top is less forgiving of being knocked.

Q: Does assembly need tools?

A: No. The dome snaps onto the ice bowl, the pole friction fits into the bowl and threads into the base. One person can build or break it down, which matters for a unit this size because it will be moved.

Q: What is it made of and how do I clean it?

A: A clear acrylic dome over a food-safe ABS ice bowl, on a metal pole and base. Wipe and sanitise the dome, tray and bowl between product changes. Smooth surfaces, no fabric, no trapped seams. Nothing in the source material states any part is dishwasher safe. Wash by hand.

Q: Can I get 16-inch replacement parts?

A: Yes. The 16-inch dome, clear tray and black ice bowl are all available, along with poles, bases, sign holders, rubber stoppers and spare ice packs. Domes take the most wear because customers open them, so that is the part most often reordered. The 16-inch parts are not currently listed as individual pages on this site. Ask us to quote them and we will add them to your order.

Q: Who buys the 16-inch floor stand?

A: Grocers, bakeries, delis, hotels, caterers and buffet operators running higher-traffic sampling. It is the format for a busy Saturday in a supermarket rather than an occasional tasting. More product per fill, better visibility, fewer staff trips back to the display.
