The clear dome (A) attaches to the ice bowl (D). Line-up the pegs on the ice bowl with the holes on the hinge of the clear dome. Push gently until the pegs snap through the holes.

 


Place the ice pack (C) in the bottom of the ice bowl (D). Then place the insert tray (B) on top.


The napkin holder (E) has a hole that slides over the top of the pole (F). 


 

The bottom of the ice bowl (D) features a plastic coupling connector piece. The adjustable pole (F) simply friction fits into this coupling piece. Push gently until a snug fit is achieved.

 


The bottom of the pole (F) threads into the hole on the base (G). Twist for a tight & secure fit.


The rubber plug (I) inserts into the hole in the bottom of the ice bowl (D).


The sign holder (J) has an adhesive bottom. Remove the white film to reveal the adhesive on the bottom of the sign holder, and then press to adhere it to extended handle section of the clear dome (A).

A: It combines the largest display with everything the Deluxe specification adds, and it is the only unit that ships with two ice packs. You get the 16-inch display area, the adjustable floor stand to roughly 38 inches, a detachable napkin holder, a waste basket, and two reusable packs rather than one. Every other Sample Dome unit includes a single pack. On a long sampling day that difference does more work than any other feature on the list.

Q: Why do two ice packs matter more than the extra fittings?

A: Because they let you swap instead of stopping. A pack stays frozen for up to six hours. With one pack, a full trading day means either a warm second half or a trip to the freezer with the display standing empty while you wait. Six hours is a specification for the pack, not a holding time for food. Product type, room temperature and how often the dome is opened all shorten it. Set discard times against your local food safety requirements, not against the pack.

Q: What does the Deluxe fitting consist of?

A: A detachable napkin holder that slides onto the pole, and a waste basket. Both detach, which is the point. A fixed waste container on a food display cannot be washed properly, and on a self-serve unit that is a hygiene problem rather than an inconvenience. Wash them on the same schedule as the tray and bowl.

Q: Is it too big for a normal aisle?

A: It needs more clearance than the 12-inch units, and the base is wider than the display diameter suggests. Measure the aisle before committing. A display that forces customers to step around it gets moved to a corner within a week, and a display in a corner samples nothing. Where space is genuinely tight, the 12-inch Deluxe carries the same fittings in a smaller footprint.

Q: How stable is it once loaded?

A: The pole threads into a weighted round metal base rather than friction fitting, which is what carries the load of a full 16-inch dome. It is still the tallest and heaviest-topped unit in the range. Site it away from the natural walking line and away from doors.

Q: Does assembly need tools?

A: No. The dome snaps onto the ice bowl, the pole friction fits into the bowl and threads into the base, and the napkin holder slides over the pole. One person can assemble it. Nothing is glued and nothing is permanent, so it dismantles for storage or transport just as easily.

Q: What is it made of and how do I clean it?

A: A clear acrylic dome over a food-safe ABS ice bowl, on a metal pole and base. Wipe and sanitise the dome, tray and bowl between product changes, and empty and wash the waste basket at least as often. Nothing in the source material states any part is dishwasher safe. Wash by hand.

Q: Can I brand it?

A: Yes. An adhesive sign holder is included and fits the raised handle section of the dome. On the tallest unit in the range that card sits close to eye level, which is the best signage position of any Sample Dome model.

Q: What can I reorder separately?

A: The 16-inch dome, clear tray and black ice bowl, plus poles, bases, napkin holders, sign holders, rubber stoppers and spare ice packs. Spare packs are worth stocking for this unit specifically, since running it properly means having frozen packs ready to swap. The 16-inch parts are not currently listed individually on this site. Ask us to quote them.

Q: Who is it for?

A: High-traffic sampling where the display has to stand alone and run all day. Supermarket demo programmes, bakery floors, hotel lobbies, catering and trade shows.
