Q: How much of the range sits at 28cm?

A: More than any other diameter. Frying pans, tossing pans, crepe pans, casseroles, braise pans and pots all appear at 28cm, which makes this the lid with the broadest coverage.

Q: Does that mean a customer needs one per pan?

A: No, and it is worth saying so. Lids are used on some pans and never on others. A crepe pan is never covered; a casserole almost always is. Sell to the covered vessels.

Q: What is a sensible lid-to-pan ratio?

A: Roughly one lid for every two 28cm vessels is a reasonable opening position, adjusted by what the kitchen actually cooks. A braising-heavy operation needs closer to one to one.

Q: Does it work on the deeper vessels as well as the shallow ones?

A: Yes. Depth varies but the rim diameter does not, so the same lid covers a shallow frying pan and a deep casserole at the same 28cm.

Q: What should be checked before a large order?

A: That the items are genuinely AMT and genuinely 28cm. Mixed-brand kitchens are where lid orders go wrong, because a nominal 28cm from another maker will not seat.
